A Note from Gary Sherrell

Nothing like a world wide launch courtesy of The Golf Channel

As I begin this email on the 5 hour flight back, I find myself smiling from ear to ear. Never in my wildest dreams did I foresee the chain of events that would transpire as I pressed the submit button on the Golf Channel application back in November of last year.

For me last night was more about enjoying the slow trot around the bases of a game winning home run than the competition, in my mind by making the top 5, victory had already been obtained and I just wanted to savor the moment. I will not lie, when they cut Pro-Play followed by Z-Factor I was feeling confident. That obviously changed with the next name called. Although winning the competition would have been fun, I believe the post-reality show ride is going to be even bigger. The flood of emails, phone calls, and text messages I have received in support of ClubGlider since last night's show is out of this world.

I thank every one of you for all your time and effort, in the end we just could not compete with the remaining American golfers who have left a club behind or had to deal with wet grips in the morning rounds (both of which I am guilty of). The ability to share this amazing journey with my friends and family has been the most fun I have ever had. Not to mention the many new wonderful people I have had the opportunity to meet both on the show and via email from people inquiring about ClubGlider. All of you have been such great champions and I am afraid to begin the list for if I were to miss just one, I would be devastated, so I will simply say THANK YOU, and know you have my gratitude.

Enough of the couch session, detox is now complete and our next move is to determine how we will bring this thing to market and the best way to maximize the opportunity that has been created for ClubGlider. This will likely take through next week as we evaluate the amazing doors that have been opened and are continuing to open as a result of the global exposure. We are currently in discussions with a very strong golf company/manufacturer however there is nothing in writing and I have learned the hard way to keep our options open.

I have been asked to attend the Fall PGA Show September 11-13 th , where all five of the finalists will have the ability to share some space and demonstrate our products (I guarantee I will be pulling people from the audience to “try it”, LOL). I do not have any expectations at this time and I have been told that this show is not nearly as big as the main show in Orlando next January, however if it can lead to future sales and more exposure than it will be well worth the couple of days invested. Besides it is in Las Vegas and being the team player that I am I would not want to leave my other finalists hanging.

As we move forward I am happy to “share the ride” in periodic (aka much less frequent) updates as significant changes in direction or official product launch information becomes available. If you would like to be removed from future updates, I understand, please just send me an email and let me know as I find myself wanting to continue to share with those who are interested and want to giggle with me as this crazy adventure continues and a napkin goes to market.

The encouragement and caring graciously given to me is far beyond any title or trophy, and for that I will be forever changed.

If there is one last thing I could share to anyone and everyone with a “napkin” they have been pondering, if you are passionate and believe it can make a difference, FOLLOW IT!!!

Keep the dream alive,

Gary

Please feel free to forward this note with my appreciation to all the wonderful people that have been part of your network over the last two weeks.
